Question

The dimmer doesn't appear to work very well when I place my finger over the sensor in daylight. I would expect the lamps to dim right down ?

Answer

You are correct to expect the lamps to dim right down, but the light passing through your finger to the sensor means that you have not reduced the light to the dark of night. Use a piece of black opaque paper for this test and you will see just how sensitive the dimmer is, now compare this with an opposition brand.

Apexus supplied gauges are warranted against faults in manufacture or componentry for 2 years from the date of purchase. Upon receipt of a faulty gauge Apexus will repair or replace the gauge at no cost to the owner. All freight charges for shipping faulty gauges to or from Apexus remain the responsibilty of the owner. As Apexus has no control over the installation the warranty does not extend to consequential or subsequent damage.
